What is the age limit for UPSC CSE 2026?
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates as per government rules.
Are female candidates exempted from application fees?
Yes, female candidates, along with Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates, are exempted from paying the application fee.
Can I apply for the UPSC CSE if I am in my final year of graduation?
Yes, candidates who are appearing in the final year of their degree examination can also apply. However, they must produce proof of passing the degree examination along with their application for the Main Examination.
What are the stages of the UPSC Civil Services Examination?
