A recognized MBBS degree from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for final year MBBS examinations are also eligible, subject to producing the degree at the time of the Personality Test.

What is the eligibility criteria for UPSC CMS 2026?

What is the age limit for UPSC CMS 2026?
Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as on August 1st, 2026, meaning they must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1994. Age relaxations are applicable for OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates as per government rules.
Can I apply if I am currently completing my internship?
Yes, candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the final professional M.B.B.S. examination are eligible to apply. However, they must submit documentary proof of passing the final professional M.B.B.S. examination and of having completed their compulsory rotating internship along with their Detailed Application Form (DAF).
