βοΈ How to Apply Online
### How to Apply
Alright folks, listen up! Getting your application submitted for the SSC CHSL 2026 can seem a bit daunting with all the steps, but trust me, it's pretty straightforward if you follow along carefully. First things first, head over to the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) and look for the 'Apply' section. If you're a new user, you'll need to complete a 'One-Time Registration'. This involves providing basic details like your Aadhaar Number, Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Educational Board, Roll Number, Year of Passing, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Make sure every single detail is absolutely correct as changing them later can be a real hassle! Once registered, you'll get a Registration Number and Password. Keep these safe!
Now, for the actual application. Log in with your Registration Number and Password. You'll then navigate to the 'Latest Notifications' tab and find the link for 'Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026'. Click on 'Apply'. The system will auto-populate most of your personal details from your One-Time Registration. You'll need to fill in preferences for examination centers (choose three, preferably nearby), indicate if you're an ex-serviceman, if you're seeking age relaxation, and your highest educational qualification. Pay special attention to uploading your scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. The photograph should be recent (not older than three months), clear, and without caps or spectacles. Dimensions and file size are crucial β generally 20-50 KB for photos, 10-20 KB for signatures, and 10-30 KB for LTI. The image should be in JPEG format. Double-check the image quality after uploading. Finally, proceed to the payment section. You can pay online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/Debit cards. Remember, SC/ST/PwBD candidates and all female candidates are exempt from fee payment. After successful payment, take a printout of your application form and payment receipt for your records. Do not wait until the last day; server issues are common!
