What is the age limit for RRB ALP & Technician posts?
The age limit is generally between 18 and 30 years as of the specified cut-off date. Age relaxations for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and other categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Can candidates apply for both ALP and Technician posts?
Yes, candidates can apply for both ALP and Technician posts provided they meet the eligibility criteria (educational qualifications and medical standards) for both. However, they will need to indicate their preferences during the application process.
Is there any negative marking in the CBTs?
Yes, there will be negative marking of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question for every incorrect answer in both the First Stage CBT (CBT-1) and Second Stage CBT (CBT-2).
What is the application fee for female candidates?
The application fee for female candidates is โน250. This fee is refundable after deducting bank charges upon appearing in the First Stage CBT (CBT-1).
Which trades are eligible for Technician posts?
A wide range of trades from ITI/Diploma/Engineering are eligible, including but not limited to Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Welder, Ref. & AC Mechanic, etc. Specific trade requirements for each Technician post will be detailed in the official notification.
