Aspiring candidates should carefully follow these steps to ensure a smooth application process for the IBPS CRP Clerks XVI 2026 examination:
1. **Visit the Official IBPS Website:** Navigate to the official IBPS portal at https://ibps.in. Look for the "CRP Clerks" section on the homepage and click on "Click here to Apply Online for CRP-Clerks-XVI".
2. **New Registration:** If you are a first-time applicant, click on "Click here for New Registration". Provide your basic details such as Name, Contact Number, Email ID, and Security Code to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password. Make sure to note these down carefully, as they will be required for all future logins.
3. **Fill the Application Form:** Log in using your Provisional Registration Number and Password. Proceed to fill out the detailed application form. This includes personal details, educational qualifications, communication address, and other relevant information. Double-check all entries for accuracy before proceeding.
4. **Upload Scanned Documents:** As per the guidelines, you will need to upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
* **Photograph:** Recent passport-size, colour photograph (20KB โ 50KB, 200 x 230 pixels).
* **Signature:** Black ink on white paper (10KB โ 20KB, 140 x 60 pixels).
* **Left Thumb Impression:** Black or blue ink on white paper (20KB โ 50KB, 240 x 240 pixels).
* **Handwritten Declaration:** "I, [Your Name Here], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is true, complete and valid. 5. **Preview and Edit:** Before final submission, utilize the "Preview" option to review your entire application form. This is your last chance to make any corrections. Once submitted, changes are generally not permitted.
6. **Payment of Application Fee:** Proceed to the payment gateway to pay the requisite application fee online using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

### Detailed Exam Syllabus
The IBPS Clerk CRP XVI examination consists of two main phases: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Both are objective type tests conducted online.

* **Quantitative Aptitude:** 50 Questions, 50 Marks, 45 Minutes.
